Phoenix Specialty has Manufactured parts for the Apollo Moon landing vehicles, and the Space Shuttle which was a partially reusable low Earth orbital spacecraft operated by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Its official program name was Space Transportation System, taken from a 1969 plan for a system of reusable spacecraft of which it was the only item funded for development.

Other Aerospace Manufacturing projects that Phoenix Specialty has produced components for are the Mars Rover and GE jet engines. In regards to the GE jet, the Durham, North Carolina facility conducts final assembly for the GE90 and CF34 power plants.  Crucial parts for these engines are crafted in secondary GE Aviation facilities.
